2021-03-24 · FZ:s systersajt Sweclockers har i artiklar rapporterat om LAN- och datorfestivalen Dreamhack som förra året nekades kulturstöd för uteblivna intäkter i pandemins fotspår. Motiveringen var då att LAN “inte är en kultur”.

Dreamhack grundades i Malung på 1990-talet och anordnas sedan år 2001 på mässanläggningen Elmia i Jönköping samt sedan 2008 även på Expolaris Kongresscenter i Skellefteå. År 2007 fick Dreamhacks grundare motta ett hederspris från Jönköpings kommun.
